Limits and errors

Plan access

MCP access is part of your Feedlio plan. If your plan doesn't include it, tools return an error saying so; upgrade on the pricing page. Everything else follows your plan too: number of workspaces, posts per day and AI credits.

The same rules as the dashboard

Posts created through MCP pass the same checks as posts made by hand:

• Character limits for each platform.
• Media rules for each platform and post type (for example Instagram's 4:5 to 1.91:1 shape, or Pinterest needing an image or video).
• TikTok requires you to choose a privacy level each time (get_tiktok_creator_info).
• Pinterest pins need a board (list_pinterest_boards).

When a check fails, the tool returns a plain-language reason the assistant can pass on.

Timing rules

• scheduled_at must be in the future and include a timezone offset or Z.
• Scheduled posts can't be edited, rescheduled or cancelled once publishing has started, or within a few minutes of their time.
• publish_now publishes immediately and can't be undone; assistants are told to use it only when you ask.

Media

• Upload links from create_upload_link are valid for 30 minutes, for one file up to 500 MB.
• WebP images are converted to JPG or PNG.
• add_media_from_url needs a publicly reachable URL.

Rate limits

There is no fixed request quota today beyond your plan's limits. New OAuth client registrations are limited per IP. Please keep automated scripts reasonable; we may add fair-use limits.
